The term “emotionally unhinged”

infers that emotions require restraint.

I couldn’t disagree more.

Restriction & immobility collaborate to massacre

emotional growth.

One could even suggest that recklessness is the only means of understanding

our heart’s intrinsic facets.

That well documented tug-of-war between heart and mind is,

in actuality,

a staged torment

because the stronger of the two needs us to cheer louder

in order to perform.

But what would I know?

I’m emotionally unhinged.
